Fishtail bracelet without buckle

Description

This paracord bracelet uses weave pattern similar to the classic fishtail bracelet and is made of single long piece of paracord. It does not use buckle but relies on a loop and knotted button for fastening. If the need arises the bracelet can be quickly unraveled.

Tying

Measure and cut paracord. Bracelet in this tutorial used 290 cm of paracord and fits hand with 19 cm circumference.

1. Take about 290 cm of cord and tie celtic button knot.
2. Look here for instructions on how to do it.
3. Cut, melt and press the end.
4. Make two bights the size of bracelet.
5. Pass the working end behind the other cords.
6. Pass the working end over two right strands.
7. Pass it under two left strands.
8. Weave the working to the right: over, over, under, under.
9. Weave it to the left.
10. Continue weaving.
11. Stop when you reach ends of the bights.
12. Pass the working end through the bight from the outside.
13. Pass it through the other bight.
14. Tighten.
15. Bring the cord around and pass it through one more time leaving a small loop.
16. Tie overhand stopper knot or cut, melt and press the end.
17. Finished bracelet form one side.
18. Finished bracelet form the other side.
