  1. Might I suggest inclusion of the Buntline Hitch, both regular & slipped?

    It’s an ancient knot that does admirably well in modern synthetics. (Not all do…)


    Another is the Marlin Spike Hitch. Really more of a tool than anything, but it’s nearly useless with out clear instructions on it’s use. Used around two spikes, hammer handles etc allows constrictors & the like to be pulled to near line breaking.
