The conquistador bracelet is wide, stretchy and comfortable to wear. The name originates from the old time conquistadors that used this type of leather braid on their sword belts. The bracelet is made in a fairly unique way. It consists of rows of loops interlocking with the previous row. It can be fairly wide (depending on how many loops are used). It is one of the most comfortable paracord bracelets and what really makes it a great bracelet is that it stretches (if the knots are not tightened too much). The more space is left in loops the more elastic is the bracelet.
Tying
Take about 310 cm of cord.
1. Pass the cord through the buckle.2. Pass the cord through the buckle once more in the same direction.3. Pass the cord through the buckle once more in the same direction.4. Pass the cord through the buckle once more in the same direction.5. Pass the cord through newly created loops.6. Tighten. Now the other (long) end becomes working end.7. Pass the cord through the first loop going right to left. Make sure the end goes behind the cord.8. Tighten the last loop and pass the cord through the next loop the same way.9. Tighten the last loop and pass the cord through the next loop the same way.10. Tighten. One row of loops is finished.11. Pass the cord through the last loop going backwards.12. Pass the cord through the next loop going backwards.13. Pass the cord through the next loop going backwards.14. Tighten. The row is finished.15. Make the next row of loops moving from left to right.16. Make the next row of loops moving from right to left.17. Continue until the desired length is reached.18. Include the buckle in the next loop.19. The last row of loops goes through the buckle.20. Pass the cord through the last row of loops.21. Cut the leftover cord close to the end.22. Melt and press the end.23. Finished bracelet form one side.24. Finished bracelet form the other side.
