Description
Paracord grenade keychain is a thicker version of cobra and king cobra weaves. It consists of three layers of cobra knots. As such it stores quite a lot of paracord. It is possible to tie it around a small pouch of survival items.
Tying
1. Take about 270 cm of cord and find the middle. 2. Measure about 7–8 cm and make a loop with left cord and pass it under the right cord. 3. Fold the top cord down under. 4. Pass it over the middle and through the left loop. 5. Tighten. 6. Start tying the next cobra knot. Right cord under the middle. 7. Left cord under, over the middle and through the loop. 8. Tighten. 9. Left cord under the middle, over the right cord. 10. Right cord over the middle and through the loop. 11. Tighten. 12. Continue tying cobra knots until end is reached. 13. Turn the key fob around. 14. Start tying a second layer of cobra knots. 15. When tightening make sure knots land between the knots of the previous layer. 16. Tie another cobra knot. Left cord under the middle. 17. Right cord over the middle and through the loop. 18. Tighten. 19. Continue tying cobra knots until end is reached. 20. Turn the key fob around. 21. Start tying a third layer of cobra knots. 22. Left over, right under cobra knot. 23. Tighten. 24. Right over, left under cobra knot. 25. Continue tying cobra knots until end is reached. 26. Pass one working end through the loop at the bottom. 27. Pass the other working end through the loop. 28. Pull tight. 29. Pass the working end under the last layer of cobra knots. 30. Pull it through. 31. Pass the other working end under the last layer of cobra knots. 32. Pull it through. 33. Cut and melt the ends. 34. Finished key fob from one side. 35. Finished key fob from the other side.
