Core melting method

Description

This method of joining two pieces of paracord melts inner strands together and then covers them with outer sheaths.
The drawbacks of this method is that the connection point is hard and inflexible and it may be tricky to apply just the right amount of heat for melting.

Instructions

2. Push a few cm of inner strands out of both cords.
3. Overlap inner strands about a cm.
4. Melt inner strands together.
5. Push sheath of one cord over the connection point.
6. Melt lightly.
7. Push sheath of the other cord over the connection.
8. Melt lightly.
