Cow hitch

Pass the rope around the object, back around itself, around the object in the reverse direction, and down beside itself.

Description

The cow hitch is a hitch knot used to attach a rope to an object.

Use

In a closed loop or strap it is often used to connect loop-ended lanyards to handheld electronic equipment,
since it can be tied without access to the ends of the fastening loop.
