Boom hitch

1. Pass the rope over the pole or other object. Take a working end and cross it over the other end.
2. Take the same working end, pull it underneath the pole, and loop it over the rope.
3. Take that same end and repeat step two, looping it over other parts of the rope.
4. Complete the knot by pulling the working end under a loop and tightening.
